I used ARALB to get my Technician's License testing on May 15th. They told us we would have our licenses up on the FCC ULS database in about 3 or 4 Days. I called the ARRL VEC Today June 7th and they haven't gotten anything from ARALB yet. I've called ARALB and emailed to hopefully get the ball rolling, but no luck yet. Maybe this week I'll get my ticket. I have my radio and my J pole antenna up on our roof but I need a license to transmit. The ARALB club our nice fellows very friendly, but I wouldn't test with them the wait time for license approval is way to long, they dropped the ball. I just call like I see 'em.

I have dealt with ARALB for testing for over 10 years and the results are 99% of the time posted within a week. There must have been something very unusual that happened in May to cause such a delay. It is very unfortunate for Trevor to have had such a bad experience. The ARALB prides itself on running a professional, helpful and prompt testing program. Applicants come from 50-60 miles one way because they know the reputation and dependability of the ARALB's FCC testing. Please do not let this one bad experience taint the ARALB's reputation.
